MAIN LAB

GULP has a main lab, now located on the first floor of 13 University Gardens, and a recording studio, located in the Department of English Language at 12 University Gardens.

The main lab is used as a research and teaching facility and is home to GULP's postgraduate community. It has a cluster of 10 networked PCs equipped with USB Mix external sound cards, microphones and headphones. The PCs run a range of specialist software as detailed below. There is a range of other recording and playback equipment (e.g. DAT, cassette, video). Below are photos of the GULP lab. Scroll down to view the photos.
